FUNCTIONAL, METABOLIC, AND NUTRITIONAL PSYCHIATRY

From first visit to ongoing care, our mission is at the heart of everything we do

Evaluation and Consultation Sessions

Your first appointment is a consultation designed to explore whether our services align with your needs. If we mutually decide it’s a good fit, we’ll move forward with follow-up sessions and begin your formal treatment journey.

Medication Management

Our clinicians offer expert care in medication management and psychotherapy for a wide range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, major depression, anxiety disorders (such as panic attacks, generalized anxiety, OCD, PTSD), high-functioning anxiety, high-functioning depression, and bipolar disorder.

We have a special focus on supporting women with late-diagnosed ADHD and autism, recognizing how neurodivergence can uniquely present across the lifespan.

We provide comprehensive care for adults and adolescents ages 8 and up, with services available both in-person and via secure telemedicine—making compassionate, personalized mental health support more accessible than ever.

We understand that medication isn’t the right path for everyone. That’s why we work closely with our patients to explore treatment options that align with their values, lifestyle, and wellness goals.

For those who no longer need or wish to remain on medication, we offer personalized, medically-guided support to help them safely and gradually discontinue use—always prioritizing stability and long-term well-being.

Mental Metabolics: A Root-Cause Approach to Mental Health

Mental health is deeply connected to the health of your body—especially your metabolism and nutritional status. At Frederick Integrative Metabolic Psychiatry and Counseling, we go beyond symptoms to explore the root causes of emotional and cognitive challenges. Through comprehensive assessments of metabolic markers, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal balance, inflammation, and genetic factors, we uncover how imbalances in the body may be driving mood issues, fatigue, anxiety, or depression.

By understanding your mental metabolics, we can create a personalized care plan that supports your brain function, emotional resilience, and overall well-being—starting from the inside out.
